DC-DC Chargers

An ideal solution if there is an on-board requirement for 12 or 24v batteries to be charged

As the main battery bank, 12 or 24v, is charged by the alternator or mains charger, then secondary battery of the same or opposite voltage needs to be charged.

The secondary battery can be charged by the DC-DC charger, for example, could be for a bow thruster, windlass or communication system.

The DC-DC charger to be placed alongside the recipient battery, this could save the cost of long and costly heavy duty cable.
The recipient battery takes it's charge from the 'Donor battery', but only when it is being charged from another source.
The charger switches off when the Donor battery is not being charged.

DC-DC chargers are available shown above.
